Publications

Personalisation and Self-Directed Support

These publications aim to give advice on the best ways to meet social care needs, with reference to support services, means assessments, individual budgets and pathways to support. They describe the support available for people who are funded or self-funded, with an emphasis on 'choice and control'.

Community Support and Independent Living

Showcases ways in which people can maximise their independence and in particular, promoting support to enable people to stay at home. They describe support available through Adult Social Care, How social care is changing and making independent arrangements. They focus on purchasing community support services, as either a self funder or supported through Adult Social Care.
